Aim, Objectives, Development Outcomes, and Learning Content
Aim: To explain the principles of safe and effective sedation
Objectives:
- Describe patient assessment and treatment planning
- Describe the use of basic sedation techniques including the administration of sedation drug(s), monitoring, recovery & discharge
- Describe the management of sedation-related complications
Development outcomes: A, B, C, D and can contribute to the requirements of the IACSD Standards
Learning content: Online lectures and Q & A sessions
CPD: Six hours of sedation CPD
Fees
Dental and medical professionals £260 (SAAD members pay a discounted rate of £220, please make sure you are logged on before registering. The discount will show once you have pressed the green 'Book Now' button.
Dental Nurses £150
