Abstract:
I was fortunate to become involved with sedation from an early point, as I was an undergraduate in BDS4 at Glasgow University when the sedation department first opened. The experience of seeing something seemingly impossible being made possible through a combination of pharmacological and psychological management made a profound impression on me, which has shaped my career.
