This course will fulfil the IASCD requirements: 16. What level of life support training does the sedation team need? Practitioners must be able to provide age-appropriate Immediate Life Support as defined by the main elements of the Resuscitation Council (UK) ILS and PILS training programmes.

**6 hours sedation CPD** An Inhalation sedation update course for DHTs already experienced in the provision of inhalation sedation.

**12 hours sedation CPD** This training scheme suitable for dentists who are new to sedation, and can nominate a suitable supervisor for their supervised clinical experience.
